Korey Gray founded Iconic Metal Works LLC in 2008 in Bakersfield, CA. In 2006 he started as an apprentice under Legendary Silver Crown Champion and Indy Car driver George Snider. In his time with George, Korey developed the skills of incorporating new technology and custom fabrication of one-off parts for the racing industry. Korey also developed TIG welding skills of aluminum and stainless steel.
In 2008 Korey studied under the renowned Metal Shaper Lazze Jansson of Lazze Metal Dreams in Pleasanton, CA. Lazze Developed world class skills of hand formed sheet metal to create brilliantly crafted cars and residential furniture.
In 2009 Korey decided to broaden his skills and went to work in NASCAR along side Gary Collins, Gary and Ron Hornaday invented the craftsman trucks, Korey had the opportunity to work alongside Gary for over a decade, learning the ins and outs of racing with NASCAR. Both on and off the track from building race cars to going over Pit Road.
Korey has been coached, trained and mentored by some of the best in the industry!
